This interesting museum explains about the voyage of the Mayflower shop to "the New World". It has accounts of some of the pilgrims, and explains about the realities of colonisation.

It wasn't too busy when I visited. It has nice views and benches where you can sit to enjoy them.

This interesting museum looks at how poorer people lived in Nottingham over the years. It is included with your castle ticket.

Chamberlain Square has a mixture of old and new buildings, along with memorials in a pedestrianised area.

There are lots of towpaths by the canal system in Birmingham. Gas Street basin has some converted buildings mixed with older reminders of the industrial past.
